We were with a group of 7 (dutchies) and had a great time in this Villa. It has a great location, great ocean view and the villa itself is very modern with a great spacious kitchen and luxury bathrooms. The manager (Ruta) was very helpful and made sure that our stay was pleasant. I would recommend it when you go to the beautifull Bonaire. Magdalena Kay, Israel
My family of 4 (2 teenagers ) and my mother, loved it ! It is centrally located and easy access to downtown 10 minute walk, and the ocean right at the door steps. Some of us took dive lessons, at the Dive Friends Bonaire next door, what a convenient set up for divers and ocean lovers !! And we got 15% discount voucher at dive friends form the owner agreement with the dive shop, Bonus !! It also has the added benefit of a pool which was great to relax at after a day of diving, snorkeling & playing in the friendly ocean. Being there a couple weeks, it was great to have a washing machine ( shared with other villa owner ) to keep up on laundry and then Bonaire’s breeze to dry everything on the clothesline on the side porch . This property was perfect for quiet and still close to grocery stores and all great restaurants. We particularly loved Sebastian restaurant a bit south of downtown on the ocean, and it rains fish closer to the villa. The listing and photos very accurately reflects the property. This villa was very clean lots towels & nice cotton sheet, as we where cooking for the family, the well equipped kitchen was a plus…nice local art too. Jossie the property manager on site, met us upon arrival at the airport and ensured we had everything we needed, to get settled in and comfortable, and gave us a local cell phone – a pleasure to deal with. I cannot wait to return to this wonderful house! It’s comfortable, clean, cozy, cost-effective, cool (in two senses of the word), convenient…. (I’ve run out of “c” words.) It’s a stunning little piece of architecture on top of being extremely practical. The location is just close enough to and, at the same time, just far enough away from town. With Dive Friends steps away, dive needs are easily met. Easy parking, if you have a vehicle. Good restaurants nearby. Quiet neighborhood. Snorkeling and diving outside the front door. Very accommodating owner and greeter. Handy discounts for local businesses. I can’t say enough good things about Villa Trepanier. I have not a single complaint or even suggestion for improvement. The only thing that could have made my stay better would have been to make it longer! Go for it! It’s magnificent!
The Villa was excellent. It is in a very convenient spot – dive shop is 25 yards away. Lots of good restaurants close by. The Villa was just as described in the listing. There were three guys in our party with a lot of dive gear; we had plenty of space. There would have be no issues with space had our wives came along. The owner and property manager were great. Both of them were easy to contact and a joy to talk with. This Villa will be our first choice when we return to the island next year. Bottom line is that you could not ask for a better place to stay while on Bonaire.
The villa was fantastic! All the modern amenities, and Jossie the property manager was very welcoming and helpful. You literally can SCUBA and snorkel right out the front door, and walk to town in a few minutes. Would definitely stay here again.
We just returned from our first vacation to Bonaire and all agree it was a favorite. We spent the week at Bonaire Blue with a family of 5 – two parents with three young adults, ages 19, 22 and 23. The experience could not have been better. After much research and debate, we chose to stay in the Bonaire Blue condo. From the beginning, the experience was positive. Communication was easy and all of our questions were answered promptly. Payment was convenient and fair. We arrived after 9 pm and the delightful property manager met us at the airport and took us over to the condo. After a short drive through town, we arrived to our well appointed, modern condo with a beautiful view of the true Bonaire blue water. The condo is clean, modern, upscale, and comfortable. We enjoyed having three comfy king sized beds. The AC is very effective and we were able to cool the rooms down quickly when needed after a day out in the ocean. Much of the time we could leave the windows open and get a beautiful cross breeze.We had arranged for some groceries to be purchased ahead of time and all was done perfectly. The condo is beautiful with everything you need. We made a trip to Van Den Tweel grocery to finish stocking up and had breakfasts and lunches at Bonaire Blue. The supermarket has everything you need and if you try to stick with the Dutch food, the prices are similar to US. We enjoyed the walk into town for dinner every night, visiting Karel’s Beach Bar, It Rains Fishes, Mona Lisa, Unbelievable, At Sea, Bobbie Jean’s BBQ, Osaka and Gio’s Gelateria. The food and drinks were surprisingly reasonable. Choose At Sea for gourmet, the beach bar for sunsets, It Rains Fishes for service and overall atmosphere, and Bobbie Jeans BBQ for a good, fun local spot. (only open on weekends)
We relaxed by the pool each day after our diving/island adventures. The condo is located next to Dive Friends Yellow Sub and they truly became our friends. Our family set out to complete our open water certifications. Two of us had started the course and did the referral and the kids did the whole course in Bonaire. Dive Friends were very helpful and flexible and we enjoyed a discount with the condo. This was all new to us and I must say – this was the easiest island vacation we have taken.
I highly recommend Bonaire Blue for location, value and style. Can’t wait to return!! An American Family’s First Trip to Bonaire
